Michael Fabian is the founding partner of Fabian, Sklar & King, P.C., and has been representing businessowners and homeowners in claims against insurance companies for over 25 years. He has won numerous cases that have created groundbreaking national precedent in establishing and protecting the rights of policyholders. These victories against the insurance industry have been cited as authority by courts throughout the United States.
Mr. Fabian is well recognized for his expertise in insurance law, and is an editor of the authoritative book "Michigan Insurance Law and Practice", published by the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE), where he co-authored with firm member Patrick King the chapter on property insurance law. Mr. Fabian also authored the Fire Insurance chapter in the ICLE publication "Causes of Action Formbook".
A frequent lecturer on property insurance issues to numerous legal and other professional groups throughout the United States, Mr. Fabian also serves as an appointed member of the National Fire Protection Association Technical Committee on Fire Investigations, which authors NFPA 921, the authoritative text on fire investigations, has served on the Insurance Law Committee of the State Bar of Michigan.
